Hi there! My name is Michelle Bruyere, and I'm an outdoor enthusiast, primitive skills guide, and early childhood educator with over 20 years of experience. I am fully first aid and CPR certified, as well as a certified forest school educator.

Raised in Colorado, I've been exploring the great outdoors for as long as I can remember. My love for nature led me to pursue a career in outdoor education, where I've had the privilege of working with children of all ages and backgrounds. For the last five years, I've taught at and operated the Denver Forest School, an all-outdoor preschool for ages 2.5-7.
As an experienced early childhood educator, I prioritize safety as much as I prioritize play. I believe that every child deserves the chance to explore and learn in a safe and supportive outdoor environment, and I'm committed to upholding the principles of 'leave no trace' ethics in all my work. Whether we're exploring the wilderness, learning primitive skills, or just having fun in the great outdoors, safety is always my top priority.
If you're looking for a trustworthy and experienced guide to help your child connect with nature, I'd love to hear from you. Let's explore the great outdoors together!
